Interested in Getting Involved in Eighth College Advisory Board?

Eighth College will be working to create a Student Council for the College. Student Councils provide a variety of different leadership positions meant to empower stduents to make a positive difference in our community, develop valuable teamwork skills, and discover the unmatched power of the student voice. Part of the 23-24 academic year will be brainstorming roles and responsibilities, expectations and creating governing documents. You will have the chance to make Eighth College a better place for students alongside a group of highly motivated, intelligent, and friendly people who are just as eager as you are to make the most out of their collegiate experience. Becoming a stduent leader allows you to tackle issues our community is currently facing and act as an advocate for our Triton community.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to apply for our Advisory Board. if you have ever considered getting involved in student leadership opportunities, even if you have no prior experience,  please apply! The Advisory Board will carefully craft and establish the vision, mission, bylaws, and representative positions of the future Eighth College Student Council. Student Council will aim to provide a safe and open environment for thoughts and opinions to grow and develop. We are looking for committed and motivated students who will strive to better the Eighth community!

Eventually, the Student Council will be the backbone of many Eighth clubs and organizations and serve as the liasion between Eighth students and Eighth/UC San Diego adminstration, as well as between Eighth students and the Associated Students of UC San Diego (ASUCSD).
