Living at Eighth

Welcome to Eighth College's Residential Life Community!

Our team would like to acknowledge that UCSD sits on the unceded territory of the Kumeyaay Nation. Eighth College's community holds great respect for the land and the original people of the area where our campus is located. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Kumeyaay people who continue to maintain their political sovereignty and cultural traditions as vital members of the San Diego Community.

Eighth's residential neighborhood is on the southernmost part of campus near the theatre district  - across from the world famous La Jolla Playhouse.

Residential Communities

At Eighth, we have five residential communities that have been carefully curated to reflect our mission and values. Our five residential communities are Podemos, Sankofa, Pulse, Survivance, and Azad Hall.
