Programming Board

Interested in Engaging the Eighth Community?
The Eighth College Programming Board (PB) is the first Eighth College Student Organization and provides a variety of opportunities for students of Eighth College to express, explore, and create ways to come together and build a sense of community and belonging. You will have the chance to make Eighth College a home for all students, which includes (but is not limited to) residents of Eighth College who are Eighth students, residents who live at Eighth and are registered with a different UC San Diego college, Eighth College commuter students, and Eighth College transfer students. Programming Board is structured to allow students to participate throughout the year through mentorship and leadership.
Programming Board Structure
Members of Programming Board fall under 3 types of student leaders:
- Co-chairs are the main facilitators of Programming Board. They are the supporters of both Programming Board as a whole and Programming Board's collaborative efforts. Committee directors are expected to meet with the CSA every other week aside from the weekly board meetings. To qualify, Directors must be active in Programming Board for two (2) academic quarters as a General Member.
